Is This Really A World Cup Semifinal?

Humilation For Brazil. Germany 5, Brazil 0.

So I wake up all night and am super excited to watch Brazil take on Germany, but they never really "took" on Germany. With the clock approaching the 40th minute, I'm compelled to create this blog because the match is going really crazy. Germany have topped up 2 goals and Brazil had only a couple of attacks, put aside the offside fouls.

Brazilian stalwart Neymar is injured and out, but that is no reason for this humiliation.
In the quarter final match, when Brazilian captain and defender Thiago Silva got a yellow card, their coach Scolari's disappointment was sincere. Having bagged 2 yellow cards, the most celebrated defender is missing this match and Germans are simply massacring the feeble Brazilian defense. David Luiz who has been assigned captaincy for this match, is desperate and helpless. He's doing all he can
and together with Oscar, are trying to get the ball to Hulk for some lucky goal, but the German defense is simply too tight.

The crowd is silenced, fans are shocked, even little children are crying. This isn't the World Cup they were all hyped up for. The nominal population who boycotted and protested against the World Cup may have had to turn on the television for the first time maybe. This is unbelievable. Germans are not even fighting for fouls or free kicks, they simply have too many goals. The commentator says, "By this time, the television sets must've been turned off in Brazil, I'm sure." and I believe him.

Julio Caesar is furious. He's just a human and can save as many shots. The very much supportive crowd is now booing on their own player Fred, they didn't even boo Marcelo when he struck an own goal in the first match of the tournament. Oscar is throwing passes, hoping Hulk or Fred might get lucky. Congratulations to Mueller, Klose and Kroose, they caused the whole of Brazil to cry! Maybe the expectations were too great. Maybe the team has a lot of pressure to perform, but Scolari even arranged additional sessions for his players with the team psychologist just to ease down his boys. Guess that didn't help much.

The first half just ended. I bet the leaving gates will be thronged by now. My nation's not even in the World Cup, I'm loving the carnage. Oh and Klose just surpassed the legendary Brazilian Ronaldo for scoring the most goals in World Cup finals, so much a semi final..

P.S The final score was Germany 7, Brazil 1. Oscar gave the Brazilians a little something to thank about.
